Code Compliance Training
DTE and Consumers Energy are offering a residential energy code training program to prepare industry participants to meet the requirements of the Michigan Energy Code.
The trainings will explain the differences between the 2015 and 2021 energy codes and identify key takeaways through a series of live virtual trainings, in-person trainings, roundtables and Energy Code Consultant sessions.
Virtual Trainings and In-Person Trainings
The virtual and in-person trainings will cover a variety of topics, from a general overview of the new code to the specific changes and how to meet the new requirements. Virtual training sessions will offer American Institute of Architects (AIA) and International Code Council (ICC) continuing education credits and will be recorded for future reference.
